Production operator
We currently have 1 afternoon shift opportunity for a Production Operator in our Fabrication department.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings to plan, set-up and operate equipment and/or prepare for fabrication of material
Set-up, adjust and operate machinery/equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Layout/load and prepare materials for production
Prepare work to be completed by reviewing work orders, materials, products, gauges, machinery and equipment
Inspect finished products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards
Maintain accurate production counts
Fabricate, assemble, rework, and repair material using hand tools, power tools and other equipment such as tape measures and calipers
Material handling
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
High School diploma
Manufacturing experience preferred
Mathematical aptitude
Good oral and written communication skills
Effective problem-solving skills
Able to stand for long periods of time and/or kneel for long periods of time
High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills
Flexible, with the ability to work well with others
