Computers first began to revolutionize product development and manufacture in the 1970’s. In particular, the introduction of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) in the late 1980’s and early 90’s significantly reduced the time associated with product development and manufacture, causing development and production lead times to shrink dramatically.

Using CAD technology, CRGI can accept drawings and math data from customers in a variety of 2D and 3D file formats. In addition, CAD/CAM systems allow us to quickly and easily introduce modifications to a product design or specification, and ensure that these changes are carried through accurately to our shop floor production processes.
