T1XX Rubber Parts

With the acceleration of General Motors Corporation's (GMC) T1XX program for its next-generation full-size pickups, Canada Rubber Group Inc. (CRGI) is now actively servicing supplier RFQ’s for T1XX rubber parts.

Under the T1XX program, GMC is redesigning and lightening the next versions of its SUV’s and pickup trucks. With the acceleration of the T1XX program, the next-generation full-size pickups have been pushed forward by about nine months to fall 2018, and the next-generation full-size SUVs such as the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon will follow about a year later. Similar to Ford’s aluminum bodied F-150, GM will mostly focus on lightening the new platform under the program.

As a major supplier of rubber parts for vehicle programs to the world’s leading automakers, CRGI is gearing up to service the new GMC program. “With the accelerated T1XX program, we expect there will be a strong demand for automotive rubber parts under the new program,” said Paul Carey, CRGI’s automotive sales manager. “We will be leveraging our already strong supply relationships and production capabilities to supply T1XX rubber parts that OEM’s and Tier-1 suppliers need for the new program.”
